Heads Up: Round Top Finds Are Coming!
Written by Shawna Holly
There’s a special place for pickers, collectors, and boutique owners that makes our lil’ hearts go pitter-patter exactly twice a year…A place with literally miles of treasures to discover, food, and festival-esque fun unlike any other. A little place called Round Top.
Many, if not most, of our Corner Cartel vendors make the trip to Round Top at least once a year. Some go for both seasonal shows, always bringing back an arm-full (and truck-load!) of unique wares with which to stock their shelves.
This year’s spring show, running March 18th through April 4th, is in full-swing and our vendors are already sending back photos of their best finds. From stacks-on-stacks of vintage cast iron bath tubs, windows, doors, trellises, beams, and posts, to vintage dough bowls, bread boards, garden furniture, lawn ornaments and more…Round Top 2021 has so far proven to be right on target, despite following in the wake of a chaotic 2020.
What does this all mean for you? It means that the two weeks following the conclusion of Round Top will be the best time to pay us a visit at Corner Cartel if you’d like to score some of that Round Top goodness for yourself, without the road trip!
And if Round Top is on your ultimate Texas travel bucket list, mark your calendars for October 14th-31st for the next show. Then, head about two-and-a-half hours east and find it for yourself, stretching an eleven-mile span along Highway 237 in the otherwise blink-and-you’ll-miss-it town of Round Top.
